FRI FRI Dame Athene is director of WiSETI, Cambridge University's FRI Women in Science, Engineering and Technology Initiative, and FRI the University's Gender Equality Champion. She is also FRI chairwoman of the Athena Forum, which aims to advance the FRI career progression and representation of women in the FRI sciences in UK higher education, and is a member of the FRI Advisory Council of the Campaign for Science and FRI Engineering.
